It was a beautiful day in the Market Wharf neighbourhood and we felt like it was finally time to check out the much-talked about Market Street Catch. It opened up shop not too long ago on, well … Market Street and it’s the sister of Buster’s Sea Cove, which you know we love. It’s right across from the St. Lawrence Market, where we may or may not have stopped for dessert after, but that’s another post for another day.
Anyway, back to Market Street.
Heyy Market Street.
Totes loved the decor. It fit in perfectly with the fact that well, they sell seafood.
Yes, that’s Sriracha sauce. In our humble opinion, any place that has Sriracha sauce on their tables is doing things right.
You can’t really see the menu there, but that’s just one third of it. There are SO many options to choose from and we kinda stood there for about 10 minutes hemming and hawing over what we should eat for our later afternoon-snack/early dinner.
Ok – so we went with the Lobster Roll. It was really a toss up between Shrimp Tacos and this, but let’s be serious, you can’t go to Market Street Catch/Buster’s Sea Cove without getting a Lobster Roll! The Lobster was just lightly dressed and it was overstuffed – and we mean that in the best way possible. Much lobster.
It was just perfect. There’s no other words to really describe this masterpiece …
Here’s a different angle. Could use another one of these bad boys right about now …Lunch, anyone?
Anyway, we’ll definitely be back to try the tacos. But before we go … here’s our Market Wharf in all it’s glory:
