Spring has kinda arrived in the city, which means warmer weather and none of that sad grey ice/slush mix on the sides of the road. It also means more bikes in the city. Not only is biking great for your health and overall fitness, it can be a lot easier on your wallet – and sanity – than owning a car or having to be at the mercy of the TTC every morning. Have we mentioned that bikes are very condo friendly? We’re here to give some tips for those who are thinking about trading in their morning traffic for that 2-wheel life.

Sounds like the title of a teen horror flick, right? But alas, we’re talking about Toronto’s favourite end-of-summer event, the Canadian National Exhibition or more lovingly referred to as the Ex! We figured we’re the best people to write about the food this year seeing as we survived the Cronut burger last summer. This year there’s no Cronuts but there’s a helluva lotta new food items that we’re itching to go sample tomorrow when the Ex opens!

The Yorkdale is a mid-rise condominium project by Context ( That’s us!) and Metropia. It is located in the backyard of Yorkdale shopping centre, which means that you basically have the worlds biggest walk-in closet.This also means you are on the TTC line still because apparently the darn thing goes north of Bloor. Who would have thought that?
We dished out the details on what’s happening at Downsview Park this summer, which is within close proximity to our new project, The Yorkdale, but that doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten all about Fort York, Library District’s neighbouring public space! In fact, Fort York is poppin’ this summer – and it’s no longer just a historical site.
