It’s been a pretty amazing month for Toronto! We’re hot off the end of the all-around successful Pan Am Games, we’ve got a beloved new sign in Nathan Phillips Square, and we’re getting tons of international attention for being all-around amazing. Canada recently regained our (rightful) top spot as having the world’s best reputation, from our welcoming people to beautiful landscape. As usual, we came out on top on the worldwide Safe Cities Index. To top it all off, we’re also the best worldwide city for young people and now Metropolis’ most liveable city in the world!

Offering refuge from the hot summer sun, sticky sidewalks and maybe your shoes, the city’s myriad of green spaces are one of the best things about Toronto. Whether you’re a Trinity Bellwoods people-watcher, a High Park family-type or slowing down for a day in the Beaches, there are tons of great park activities you should scratch off your list if you haven’t already.
Spring has kinda arrived in the city, which means warmer weather and none of that sad grey ice/slush mix on the sides of the road. It also means more bikes in the city. Not only is biking great for your health and overall fitness, it can be a lot easier on your wallet – and sanity – than owning a car or having to be at the mercy of the TTC every morning.
